Citizen brightens Supreme’s line card
Joint press release of Supreme Components, Singapore (SCI) and CITIZEN ELECTRONICS CO., LTD.Citizen Electronics (CE) has strengthened the line card of Supreme Components International (SCI) by including Australia, New Zealand and India to its existing territories of South East Asia.
“SCI has been performing well and have exceeded our expectations” mentioned the General Manager of Citizen Electronics, Singapore Mr. Takashi Niiyama.
Both companies acknowledge there is a good growth potential for these major markets. SCI has recently launched ‘Supreme Lighting solutions’ program that will support its customers with accessories like lens, heat sinks, connectors and driver components.
Understanding that the lighting industry is undergoing a major change in technology, SCI has also developed the ‘Technical Solutions Provider (TSP)’ program. This program helps the lighting manufacturers to get a complete design solution from the appointed TSP’s, this will help the lighting manufacturers to design innovative products that will bring out all the benefits of LEDs.
SCI has a technical resource centre based in Singapore and provides reference designs for High bay lighting, down light, cove light, wall light etc.
“The expansion of this franchise is strategically important for us as we are on track to open our Indian office in 2010” said the president of SCI Mr. Vick Aggarwala who is a veteran in the component distribution industry for over 35 years.
Citizen electronics of Japan has been manufacturing LED’s since 1982 and is leading the super bright LED technology with the brightest and most efficient LED in the industry with its CL-L233-C13N1 that gives a brightness of 1335 Lumens with an input power of 13.3W.
